### Virtual ID for Tuya Connectivity Products

If you encounter any operational issues with your connected devices **during daily use**—after the initial installation are complete—our technical support team can remotely diagnose the problem to provide a faster resolution. To do this, we will need your device's **Virtual ID**.

#### What is a Virtual ID?

The **Virtual ID** is a unique serial number assigned to each specific device. Providing this ID allows our technical support team to retrieve the device's cloud operational logs from the **last seven days**. This data is crucial for checking connectivity drops, error codes, and other anomalies without needing to inspect the device in person.

> 🔒 **Privacy Note:** Sharing your Virtual ID only grants our engineers access to the device's technical logs for troubleshooting purposes. It does not expose your personal account information.

#### How to Find Your Virtual ID

You can easily locate the Virtual ID of your device by following these steps within the **Smart Life app**:

1. **Open the Device Panel:** Open the Smart Life app and tap on the specific device you are experiencing issues with.
2. **Go to Device Settings:** Tap the **Edit/Settings icon** (usually a pencil `📝` or hexagon icon) located in the top right corner of the screen.
3. **Access Device Information:** In the settings menu, tap on **Device Information** (often indicated by an `ℹ️` icon).
4. **Copy the Virtual ID:** Look for the **Virtual ID** in the list. You can simply tap the **Copy** button next to it to save it to your clipboard.
